What is Pétanque/ Boule?
In pétanque the objective is to score points by having boules closer to the target than the opponent after all boules have been thrown. This is achieved by throwing or rolling boules closer to the small target ball, officially called a jack, or by hitting the opponents' boules away from the target.
How much does it cost to play ? It’s £8pp
Who can play? Anyone and everyone.
How many can play? 2, 4 or 6 people per pitch.
What does a ticket get me? Access to your own beautiful pitch, all of the equipment to play AND an option super friendly instructor to get you started.
How long does it last? - Our sessions last for 60 minutes.
What if it rains? - Don't worry our pistes are INSIDE the marvellous Margate Leisure Centre.
I'm thirsty? - There's a fully stocked bar including our local brewery the Northern Brewery Co, Kentish Pip Ciders and Time & Tide beers. We also hold excellent non alcoholic beers, cocktails and spirits. And of course you must try a glass of Pastis for the cultural fix!
What if there are more than 6 of us? Well, we have to keep the numbers even so everyone can play the game (sorry odds!). BUT you're welcome to book the next lane over, just let us know.

Grab yourself a buddy, call your mates, and book a time to play at Klak. Each pitch takes up to 6 people and book for a hour slot or more. We take walk ins but can’t guarantee you a free pitch.
